Hydraulic Shovel Stick

A client had an old and worn shovel stick that needed to be brought back to life. We completed a full refurbish which included replacement of a large section of the skin plate, all the wear bars on the underside, full NDT and crack repairs, stripping and replacement the hydraulic lines, and line boring on the pivot shaft points.

793 Dump Truck Tray Repair

We were recently asked to complete a series of works on a pair of CAT 793 Dump Truck trays from a new client. The scope included:

• Crack Repairs

• Panel replacements

• LH Side Wall replacements

• New rear lip support assemblies

• New rock guards

• Sandblast and Paint

All work was completed by our team on site, taking advantage of our site work trucks, transport trucks, and mobile Franna Crane to get the job done safely and efficiently.

793 Final Drive Stand

CAT 793 Final Drive Stand that a valued client of ours needed to be modified and certified for use. We were able to reverse engineer the existing stand and complete modifications including NDT, load testing, re-painting, and MDR of the works completed. Delivery also includes a new complete set of fabrication drawings in the clients format and title block for registration into their system.

7495 Dipper Door Wedge Stand

Heavy duty Wedge stand for a CAT 7495 Dipper Door. From client design drawing to 3D Model and detail drawings, fabricated, painted, and ready for transport. All our projects are done by qualified welders working to certified welding procedures and inspected by our in house CSWIP certified welding inspector. We can also complete and compile full MDR’s for each project as required, as this one required. This includes, procedures used, material trace-ability, and any testing and certification that your project may require.

Coarse Screening Static Guards

A set of 3 guards plus extended structure to support them. These were made to client specifications for their coarse ore screens in their gold ore processing plant.

Valve Access Platforms

Two valve access platforms we recently completed for one of our clients, complete with steel detailing and 3D models, fabrication, surface treatment, and transport to site. Coarse Ore Screening Dust Cover

We were asked to replace the dust suppression covers for a client on their four coarse ore screens. Using a combination of site measurements and 3D scanning with our in house drafting team, we were able to reverse engineer the existing covers, model, fabricate, paint, and supply to site. This is a prime example of HavCon Engineering’s ability to be a one stop shop.

Lifting Equipment & Tooling Testing and Re-Certification

Custom liner lifting tools for a client. Fully certified, load tested, and full Manufacturers Data Report compiled.

We can provide a one stop shop for any lifting equipment or tooling testing and certification, either on existing equipment, newly designed, or reverse engineered and fabricated.

ROM Bin Wall & Grizzly Beams

Installed and ready for use, a new ROM bin wall and 7x new grizzly beams. Total of 36 tonnes of steel replaced including NDT and Manufacturers Data Report to match client standards and specifications.

Bag Breaker Frame

An emergency rush job for a client who needed a structural frame asap. We received the request for quote on a Wednesday, after the go ahead and design drawings had been delivered we had the steel detail drawings complete by Thursday lunchtime, material ordered, delivered, and fabricated for delivery Sunday morning.

Transfer Chute & Platform

A transfer chute and surrounding access platform fabricated, NDT, painted, and assembled ready for delivery for one of our most valued clients. Delivery includes a full Manufacturers Data Report including welding procedures and welder qualifications.

Sacrificial Chute Liners

2 sets of sacrificial chute liners for a client waiting for delivery in our yard. Each set weighed in at 13.8T, for a combined total of almost 28T of steel and wear plate.

HPGR Bin Wall

As a part of a clients ongoing plant improvement project, we supplied several sections of HPGR bin wall replacement panels, changing out the existing mild steel bins with dua-plate lined panels.

Acceleration Curve Chute

Acceleration Curve Chute from a previous project for a key client. Modelled in Solidworks from engineering drawings, steel detail drawings produced, fabricated, painted, and delivered to site. Delivery included a complete Manufacturers Data Report.

CAT 725 Water Tank Module

Drop in water tank module that we fabricated on a previous project. It was designed to fit into a CAT 725 dump truck body as a removable module. Custom modules and conversions can be completed very easily with our in house laser scanning and design/drafting department.

Beam Deflector Plates

One of our previous projects, a series of chute deflector plates for a valued client at their ore processing plant. Each deflector weighing in at over 6t each.

Primary Crusher Shaft Tranport Frame

Urgent transport frame we completed for a previous project. Our client needed a custom transport frame fabricated in a very short time frame. We received the first draft engineering drawings on Friday morning, had steel detail drawings complete by Saturday morning, materials cut and processed over the weekend, and fabrication finished and ready for transport to site by following Thursday, including several revisions and changes requested by the client during the week. 7.2T of steel in total.
